December is here, as has sneaked up on most of us. First of all, let me say a big Merry Christmas to all the IRC regulars, and anyone else who is reading these pages.
Avey's big sister, JuliaAnne has been revealing some information about our mysterious merkin friend, none of it bad unfortunately :) She tells me that as a child Christine (avey) had a teddy bear collection, and painted a mural on her wall in high school. She has also revealed that the sisters once had a fight and didn't speak to each other for a year... their mother claimed it was the best year of her entire parental life !
Skiff (that's me!), ThisHell, g0tai and themage all met up recently at the ARM club show at the motorcycle museum in Birmingham. The show was quite small, but everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves, and the Mothership RiscPC with working sink was on hand to get a few laughs. A good day spoiled only by the fact that I got lost trying to walk back the NEC across the M42 and walked almost a mile down the motorway (literally) in the wrong direction before realising my mistake. Life huh? ;)
Gossip has been a bit thin recently, so if you have any news, please do not hesitate to get in contact....
I have been considering running a series of interviews with regular users of IRC - to let people find out a little more about the person than just name and email address etc. If people think this is a good idea - please do tell me. Also if anyone has any amusing questions to ask, could they also contact me. Please don't email me saying "me, me, me!". I shall probably select the people to be interviewed by some random method (pin in a piece of paper?!)
A big thankyou to Fresco (our friendly mad Austalian) for sending many Christmas Cards by Airmail to us Europeans. They were much appreciated!
And sneaking in there - just before the new year hits, some news from Imajica !
JuliaAnne, avey's sister sent Imajica a Christmas present: real merkin boxer shorts. On the front of the shorts is a big smiley, why nobody knows :) Furthermore, Imajica will be making a homepage for Julia, so everyone can finally learn more of her. Will there be any boxershorts on it ? You will have to wait and see. Imajica has loads of photos of the Woodwards in his possession and he will threaten them to publish them on the homepage ;)
And finally, this is Skiff signing off for another year (well a first actually). Thanks for all your great enthusiasm, help and comments on the site. I hope you like some of the new revisions - and don't forget to visit the fun section - there should be some interesting stuff brewing in there :)
