Ooh let me see.... I just started using it at university, when they gave all the students email accounts. It's great having free access !!!
If you could live anywhere in the world where would it be and why?
Jinkies!! Wot a question! Well, I'm not sure if I can really think of one place. I used to have a fascination with all things Russian... I dunno though. Actually I love Edinburgh, so I'm pretty content. I would like to do a fair bit of travelling though. Mind you, it would have been great to live in the sixties. I think.
What do you do in your spare time?
Erm... window shop, watch old episodes of Randall and Hopkirk (Deceased), read tons of books and anorak. UNIX. Enuff said already.
Have you ever done anything illegal? and if so what was it and were you caught?
Hurrhurr.... I'm an honest lass ye ken!! Speeding and running red lights mainly. I've never been caught. Though my French teacher once caught me chorying some of those markers they use on whiteboards.
Ok now some interesting questions!
Great smashin soopa
What sort of music do you like?
Aha!! Well, anything and everthing basically. At the moment I cannot stop listening to this tape my boyfriend gave me. It's Neil Young's 'Harvest' which I really love, and the Incredible String Band (psychadelic folk). I have tons of Saint Etienne CDs and stuff. I'll listen to anything basically. As long as it strikes a chord or makes me smile
Who is your favourite writer?
Aha!! I love Russian writers. I dunno that I can pick out any individual. Dostoevsky's 'Notes from the Underground' is amazing stuff. Chekhov, Solzhenitsyn, I could go on and on basically. At the moment I am reading Edgar Allan Poe. Good stuff. Everyone should read.
What was the last CD you purchased? or pilfered?
Hurrhrr... well, I'm totally skint at the mo, but my boyfriend bought me a CD full of the theme toons from Hanna Barbera cartoons. It's great fun. Apart from that, I reckon it was Mazzy Star's 'She Hangs Brightly'.
What is your fave: (1) movie; (2) tv show?
Eeeeek!! Well, my favourite movie at the moment is The Wicker Man. I'm completely obsessed with it really.
tv show.. well... here goes...
I really really love Randall and Hopkirk (Deceased) , which is a detective series from the late sixties. Also, Rentaghost, X-Files, classic kids TV shows etc go down a treat. Not forgetting the marvel that was Bullseye. "what a smashin audience you are", "stay out of the black and in the red, there's nowt in this game for two in a bed". Ah, the many talents of Jim Bowen..
Who were your role models when you were growing up?
ummmm.... I got my inspiration from double decker buses mainly
but i rather admired newsreaders
Could you explain that for the channel (or not)
Explain the buses or the newsreaders?? (or both?)
The buses mainly
I love double decker buses. Always have done. When I was a toddler, I didn't have a cuddly teddy, but a nice cuddly dinky toy bus instead. It was a London Bus. But recently I have managed to purchase an Edinburgh Corporation double decker. They are positive things, very useful, run well with a little TLC and are often late. Just like me.
Kewl

If you could choose one person in the world to meet who would it be (alive or dead)? You can have one alive and one dead if you like
ohmigod
dead: Vladimir Illyich Ulyanov (Lenin)
alive: um... bloody difficult that one
Who is 'bloody difficult that one' and is he famous ;)
Des Lynam
One final question!!!!
Ok..
If you could be remembered for one thing what would it be?
Does this have to be something I have already 'achieved' or something i hope to achieve?
Either
Well, I guess some may remember me for the boots and the Cracknell. Others, for other reasons (XOR). I just hope peole remember me as a good friend really. It would be good to really achieve something though. Like writing books that really have an effect on people. I could handle that.
